Kagyu Thubten Choling Monastery invites you to join us for the 7th Annual North American Kagyu Monlam being held July 6 – 10 in Wappinger Falls, NY . This remarkable 5-day “Great Prayer Festival” is a time to pray for world peace. It is being held under the guidance of Lama Norlha Rinpoche, with blessings from His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje. The Ven. Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche will preside over the prayers, and bestow teachings and empowerment.

For the teachings on Day 1 Chinese simultaneous translation will be transmitted via FM radio. In addition to bringing your FM radio, please bring your own headsets too. Please be sure your device is fully charged and have a new battery in your FM radio. There will be a limited number of FM radios available and a $20 deposit will be required for the radio. Please bring your own headsets.
